Description:

The bristles of the kite connate half or more. Blue basket. Grows in dry and rocky places, on all appropriate floristic regions across the country at an altitude of 1000 meters.
 In Bulgaria: var. ruthenicus (MV) Stoj. et Stef. (E. r. MB.) – A plant without  glandular hairs. Widespread. .............................................................................
 var. thracicus (Vel.) Stoj. et Stef. {E. t. Vel.) - The lower part of the stem and the upper surface of the leaves with glandular hairs. Mostly south of the Balkan Mountains.
