Description:
This suberb specimen plant makes an impressive rosette of many long, branching, hairy grey stems. The sprays of icing pink flowers around the stems are produced from June until October, with the main, quite spectacular flush, in July.

Distribution in Bulgaria:
These plants grow on grassy and stony places, around roads as well in the plains as in mountains. In all appropriate floristic regions in Bulgaria up to 1000 m altitude.

South- and Central- (southern parts) Europe, Mediterranean, Caucasus, South-West Asia.
