Description: (4 - 6) groups. G. januensis. Shrubs 10.0 - 50.0 (from 70.0 - 100.0) cm high. Leaves linear to elliptic, durable or fall off, entire or ciliary finely serrated, naked or with scattered hairs. Calyx bell-shaped, 3.5 - 4.0 (5.0) mm long, 2/3 or 1/3 bilabial. Corolla yellow. Clusters cluster and loose. ђ.Bush 10.0 - 50.0 cm tall. Stem recumbent or ascending, branching, often the primary branches leaf, secondary erect, more or less circular, with 6 - 9 shallow ribs, naked or at the top fiber, without spines. Leaves 3.0 - 10.0 mm long and 1.0 - 3.0 mm wide, simple, linear, elliptical or linear lancet, resemble leather, the top dulled or just pointed, sessile, entire, without cartilage edge, naked or long absently fiber, durable. Stipule durable, styliform, to 1.0 mm long, naked. Clusters 2.0 - 4.0 cm long, cluster, thin, with (3) 5 - 7 (10) flowers at the tips of branches. The blossom stems 1.0 - 2.0 (2.5) mm long, bare to densely hairy. Bracts to 1.0 mm long, styliform, attached at the base of the calyx, naked. Calyx 3.5 - 5.0 mm long and 3.0 - 4.0 mm wide, bell-shaped, nude (rarely a single hairs) of 1/3 to mid-bilabial, upper teeth more or less widely triangular, almost equal lip, close lower triangular, to 1/2 of the lip. Corolla (6.0) 9.0 - 12.0 mm long, intensive yellow. Flag 6.0 - 7.0 mm wide, ovate elliptical, the top general at the base suddenly narrowed into a short claw narrow, more or less equal in length with wings and keel, naked. Wings extended elliptical at the base with a wide elliptical appendage, narrowed in thin long nails, naked. Keel extended elliptical, basically thin long nails, naked. Beans (1.0) 1.5 to 2.0 inches long and 3.0 to 4.0 mm wide, elongated Lancet, the top short-pointed, naked, with 3 - 8 seeds after ripening splits. The seeds to 3.0 mm long and 2.5 mm wide, lenticular, brown, smooth.

Distribution in Bulgaria: Grows in the dry grassy and stony places, in the plains and foothills. Western (Kochan village, Gotse Delchev) and Eastern Rhodopes, Thracian Valley (Plovdiv region, Ustina village; Haskovo region, Mezek village; Omarchevo village, Nova Zagora region), Tundzha lowland (Kazanlak), Strandzha, between 150 and 900 m altitude. Indicate for: Eastern (Sliven, Vel., 1891, 1898; St. Georg., 1889; Ajtos, Urum., 1909) and West (Kom - Jordan., 1924; Urum., 1935) Stara Planina probably instead of G. januensis. (Conspectus of the Bulgarian Vascular Flora) = conspectus&gs_l= Zlc.
Distribution: Greece (Western Thrace), Turkey, Southwest Asia (the western part of Asia Minor).
