Description:

Annual to perennial herbaceous plants. Stems erect, branched from the base, well covered with glandular, mixed with branched or unbranched hairs, or almost naked. Leaves simple, jagged sawtooth or lyre-like and feather-like shared, to feather-like cut, abundant fiber. Clusters cluster, highly branched, loose. Sepals erect to slightly spreading; external little or no expansion in the bulky base. Petals yellow or white, external ovoid back, to the base narrowing in a long fingernail. Filaments handles basically toothless. Nectar glands in the short stamens ring, out slightly lobed and joined with the middle in a closed ring. pistils flask-is, with seated ovary, often with glands; ovules 2 - 4; the bar with a well-developed discoid to almost spherical stigma. Fruits non-solvent solid little pod with 4 irregularly serrated longitudinal rigid wing or at least with hard edges, the tip tapered to a bar, with 1 - 4 most commonly monocotyledon wells. Partition hard zigzag. Seeds rounded, with small nose. Cotyledons oblong, spirally twisted around embryonic root. Visit of small insects. Autonomous self-pollinating.

Bunias is a genus in the Brassicaceae family. The genus includes only two accepted species, Bunias erucago (crested warty cabbage, corn rocket) and Bunias orientalis (Turkish rocket, hill mustard, Turkish warty cabbage, warty cabbage).
