Description: Small shrubs or bushes, bare or fiber, without spines. Stems flat, broadly winged. Leaves simple, entire, few, without stipule. Inflorescences peak cluster. Calyx bell-shaped, five share, irregular, deeply bilabial, upper lip with two longer shares, the lower with three shorter than tube denticles. Corolla yellow, incorrectly, with five leaflets. Stamens 10, fused, alternative, 5 with longer anthers attached to the back, and 5 with a short anthers, attached at the base. Ovary fiber. Beans oblong Lancet, laterally flattened, narrowly elliptical cross section, with 2 - 6 seeds, fiber, splits after ripening. Seed lenticular, smooth, without appendage. Polination by insects. Propagated by seed and Stem cuttings.
