Description:

Annual or perennial herbaceous plants, rarely shrubs or small trees. Leaves consistent, simple short stems. Correct blossoms, single, located in the axils of the leaves. Calyx tubular, 5 fully completely fused petals, with 5 narrow, more or less protruding ribs; the teeth 5 , from 3.0 - 10 (12) mm long, the same or unequal in length; the bottom of the calyx retaining ability, top hair loss. Corolla up to 19 cm long, tubular or funnel, with 5 (-10)- lobed crown, tucked away, often along highly  folded cross, white or purple. Stamens 5 identical, shorter or longer than the rim tube; Staminal stems fused with the base of the gum tube; anthers yellow, dissolving narrow beard. Two wells-similar ovary, rarely four wells-similar only at the basis with numerous ovules. The bar single, just peak located; stigmas 2 separately. Fruit box, more or less barbed, almost smooth, bursting of the base to the correct partition 4 or improperly dissolving, less juicy, sweet, strawberry elongated. Seeds numerous, flat,  surface more or less wrinkled mesh.
