Description:

Annuals, root underdeveloped 10 - 45 cm tall plants. Stems straight or ascending, multiple, naked and on top of short curly fiber, green and later turn red, brilliant. The lowest leaves 2 - 13 cm long or short curly naked just fibrous stems, 0.6 - 3.5 cm long, 1.0 - 5.5, cm wide, rounded in shape, 1/2 of its radius of branched out 9into 5 triple partition earlier declining. Stipules lance shaped, brown to reddish, membranous, naked. The leaves of the stem 0.8 - 6.5 cm long curly naked or just fibrous stems, 0.8 - 4.0 cm long, 1.5 - 5.0 cm wide, rounded in shape, about 2/3 of its radius divided palmate 5-7 reverse ovate, usually lobed partition on top blunt, short blade, opposite, shiny top and brim with rare, member shaped, brilliant simple hairs, often reddened bottom. Two blossoms on a 0.7 - 5.0 cm long, just short fibrous clusters bosom handles. Bracts lance shaped, brown to reddish, membranous, naked. pedicels 0.5 - 3.0 cm long, just short curly fiber. Sepals 5-7 mm long, 2.5-3.5 mm wide, ovate lance shaped, 0.4 - 1,5 mm long little beard , wing shaped, with a pronounced keel and wide cross wrinkles during bloom, forming conical cup, on both sides of the keel white tunicates, green to the edge, on the surface of sessile glands. Petals 5-8 mm long, 1.5-2.5 mm wide, almost equal to the sepals, oblong-ovate back on top targets rounded by strangulation laid out in long, thin, naked small nail, pink, rarely white. Stamen stems hidden in the blossom. Fruit share 2.0 - 2.8 mm long, 1.0 - 1.7 mm wide, laterally flattened, with 5 longitudinal ridge on top, that, as his internal side, short glandular pubescent, incorrect mesh surface rest with detachable after ripening seeds, almost naked, curved beard. Seeds 1.5 - 2.2 mm long, 0.9 - 1.2 mm wide, yellow-brown, smooth.

Flowering Time: Blooms IV-VII, fruitful V-VIII.

Distribution in Bulgaria: In moist shaded scrub and rocky places in the plains, foothills and mountains. Widespread from sea level up to about 1,500 m altitude. (Конспект на висшата флора на България) = conspectus&gs_l= Zlc.

Distribution: Europe (excluding the North-East parts), the Caucasus, Central and Southwest Asia, North Africa.
