Description:
One to two years, the root greater or less developed, 14-60 cm tall plants. Stems straight, ascending to be exhilarated, usually single, often based on highly branched, densely short and just long, rarely spread glandular hairy, unpleasant-smelling plants. Palmate leaves with pinnate shares, low leafs of 5-22 cm, the stem leafs on 0.8 to 9.0 cm long fibrous stalks just opposite, on both sides diluted outstretched just fibrous, often reddish. Stipules lanceolate three - corner, red, just long white fibrous. Two Blossoms on a 1-8 cm long, spreading simple and glandular pubescent, petals bosom handles, overcoat or along the stems. Does its bracts linear – lance, red - brownish, membranous, simple and glandular pubescent. Blossom leafs 0.2-1.5 cm long, densely spread her just short and longer glandular pubescent, the fetus remained upright. Sepals 5-7 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, lanceolate or elliptic lanceolate, the tip with 1-3 mm long beard with narrow membranous edge with 3 distinct darker streaks, simple and glandular pubescent, hairs mainly and the fibers at the edge of variable length, often reddish. Petals 9-16 mm. long, 2.5-6.5 mm wide, twice longer than the sepals, oblong egg back - prominent, rounded at the top, entire, in the lower third suddenly narrowed into a long linear wedge small nail, pale pink to purple. Stamen leafs hidden in the blossom. Fruiting units 2.5-3.5 mm long and 1.0-1.5 mm wide brown with several rare transverse ribs forming the coarse grid, usually by short white hairs, rarely glabrous on top with two long white fibers are released after ripening seeds scattered short glandular pubescent, curved beard. Seeds 1.9 to 2.5 mm long, 0.8-1.2 mm wide and red, with a smooth surface.
var. robertianum. Fruit shares at least to the top outstretched short wooly. Widespread.
var. glabrinux Petrova et Koz. in Addenda. Fruit shares naked. Coast (North), Central and the Western Balkan, Sofia Region, Vitosha area Struma valley, Pirin.
General distribution. Europe (excluding the northern parts ), Asia, North Africa, North America.
Flowering Time: Blooms IV-X, fruitful V-XI.
