Stipule 3.0 - 8.0 (10.0) mm long and 5.0 - 8.0 mm wide, longer, rarely equal or slightly shorter than petiole, wider than the stem, closer than the small leaves, semi sagittate, naked. Leaves with handles, the axis with small awns. The leaves (2) 3 - 4 pairs (2.0) 3.0 - 4.0 (5.0) cm long and (5.0) 7.0 - 10.0 (12.0) mm wide, lance, lance elliptical or almost elliptical, 3 - 4 times longer than petiole, from the upper side shiny, dark green below, blunted tip, with short small awn, ciliary fibrous edge, from the upper side naked, bottom bare or at least short-fitting fibrous veins, with arched and mostly vague reticular development of veins.
