Annual plant. Stem 10 - 40 cm tall, erect or rising slightly from the middle or from the base, highly branched, rarely simple idly by thick moss. Leaves 5 - 30 mm long and 2 - 8 mm wide, elliptical, oblong lancet or lancet, serrated; lower with short stems, upper almost subsessile, entire or to the top finely serrated, on both sides pale green, covered with long hairs. Blossom vertebrae most often with six, apart or closer together in like wheat ear inflorescence. Bract leaves like leaves. Calyx bell-shaped pipe-like, almost bilabial, 6 - 8 mm long by 10 prominent veins; tube covered with long hairs spread; teeths ovoid lanceolate, 3 - 4 mm long, pointed, with 1 - 2 mm long awn after petal fall more or less spread, prickly. Corolla 5 - 7 mm long, shorter than the calyx or almost equally long with her, yellow or black to blackish with yellow lower lip; tube about 3 mm in length, the goal at the bottom and the top fiber; upper lip straight, flat or slightly convex, almost entire; lower lip tripartite, with egg-shaped middle portion and a much smaller side partitions. Stamens hidden in the corolla tube of about 1.5 mm long. Wren ovate, 3-keeled, to tip rounded, smooth, brown. volatility

Distribution in Bulgaria: In dry rocky and grassy places, secondarily as a weed in arable crops, crops of alfalfa grass mixes and more. in hilly and foothill areas. Widespread until around 1000 meters altitude. (Conspectus of the Bulgarian Vascular Flora) = conspectus&gs_l= Zlc.
Distribution: South, Central (southern parts) Europe, the Mediterranean, the Caucasus, Southwest Asia.
