Description:
Perennials. Bulb one or more attached to short rhizome, cylindrical or conical lanky, 0.75 - 1 cm in diameter, brown, leathery outer skins, sometimes slightly frayed fiber. Stem fleshy, 10 - 60 cm tall, smooth or less rough in the lower third to the middle part and covered with smooth leaf sheaths. Leaves 1 -2, cylindrical or semi-cylindrical base, 2 - 6 mm wide, tubular, flat, often rough, normally shorter than the stem. Involucre equal to or shorter than inflorescence, short-pointed, often colored and entrenched. Inflorescence dense, spherical hood. Blossom handles uneven in length, Internal much longer and without bracts at the base. Perianth narrowly bell-shaped, shiny pale pink to pink violet petals with darker streak in the middle, 7 - 17 mm in length, linear lanceolate, lanceolate or oblong face, sharp or blunt, often with curved edges.
