A perennial plant. Rhizomes short, woodened, a lot of head, covered with scales and highly branched roots. Stems recumbent, to 10.0 cm long, highly branched, split or almost simple, when dry lies close to the white hairs. Stipule  4.0 - 13.0 mm long, free lance pointed ovoid, tunicates, edge ciliates. Leaves 4.0 - 20.0 (30.0) cm long, imparipinnate, with 1.0 - 6.0 cm long stems, white fibrous. Leaflets (9) 10 - 14 (15) couples 4.0 - 13.0 mm long, 2.0 - 7.0 mm wide, with stems, elongated ovoid back to back heart-shaped, the top cut or more or small cut on top bare bottom with white unbranched hairs. Inflorescence oblong 6 - 14-blossoms clusters with 1.5 - 3.0 cm long stems, shorter than the adjacent leaves. The flowers about 1.0 cm long, pendulous, with long bracts and small bract. Calyx 4.0 -6.0 mm in length, wide bell-shaped, membranous; teeth lanceolate, equal to 2/3 of the length of the tube, wherein the beans preserved. Corolla 10.0 - 12.0 (-14.0) mm long, whitish dichromatic, bluish purple. Flag, ovate to elliptic, incised on top, up to 2 times longer than the calyx and much longer than the wings and keel. Wings linear lance. The keel almost dull, blueish. Beans (8.0) 10.0 - 24.0 mm long and 2.0 - 3.5 mm wide, linear Lancet, straight, on top of straight or curved beak; shares weak scaphoid, with fine mesh coated with streaks, in young able-fitting fibrous or almost naked, tan, smooth, two-well. Seeds numerous kidney to 2.0 mm long, smooth, brown.

Flowering Time: Flowering: V - VII, fruitful VII - X.

Distribution in Bulgaria: Grow in sunny, dry, rocky limestone terrain, mainly in the foothills and mountains. Eastern (Varna region), Medium (peak Vejen, Mount goat wall) Stara Planina, Znepole region, (Chepan, Belidiehan), Vitosha Region (Lozenska mountain) Slavyanka, Pirin, Central Forest (Ihtimansko) Mountains, to 1800 m altitude. (Conspectus of the Bulgarian Vascular Flora) = conspectus&gs_l= Zlc.

Indicate probably mistaken for Black Sea coast (Kavarna, Stribrny).

Distribution: Southern Europe (north to northeast Switzerland), Southwest Asia (Asia Minor).
