Perennials. Tuber-bulb almost spherical, with veil, disintegrating at the bottom of parallel fibers. Overhead part with blossom together 8 - 12 cm, wrapped with leaf sheaths. Leaves 2 - 3 with not wide keel (1/3 - l / 4 of the lamina) and long cilia, develop together with blossoms. Spatha consists of two leaves, longer than the cunts, almost equal to perianth tube. Blossoms 1 - 2, orange-yellow, oblong Tunney shares 2.5 - H cm long. Orange stamens with verrucose handles. The bar also orange, almost to the base of anthers cut in 6 thin partition. Seeds oblong, naked, on the surface with short like bristles growths, bright red violet.

Distribution in Bulgaria: Grow in  bright brush and dry grassy places in South Balgaria. Meeting is also over over 1000 meters altitude. (Conspectus of the Bulgarian Vascular Flora) = conspectus&gs_l= Zlc.
