ђ. Bush 10.0 - 100.0 cm tall. Stem lying or ascending, branched from the base, with three clear, sharp, and 1.0 mm wide, pinnate ribs, sometimes with 3 - 4 lower or unclear ribs between them or ribs 6 - 9, shallow, vague terms, naked, without spines. Leaves (5.0) 10.0 - 15.0 (40.0) mm long and 2.0 - 4.0 (7.0) mm wide, elliptical, lanceolate or linear lanceolate, narrowed at the base wedge, on top dull, indented or pointed, squatting on the edge close cartilage and usually ciliary finely serrated; naked, durable; leaves of sterile branches 5.0 - 40.0 mm long and 3.0 - 7.0 mm wide. Stipule durable styliform to 2.0 mm long, naked. Clusters cluster, 3.0 - 5.0 cm long, thin, with 2 - 10 flowers at the top of the stem and its branches. Flower stems 1.0 - 2.0 (2.5) mm long, naked or fibrous. Bracts styliform to 1.0 mm long, attached in the middle or upper half of the flower stem, naked or short bristly fiber. Calyx to 4.0 mm long and 3.0 mm wide, bell-shaped, almost naked to bristly hairy, until about mid bilabial, the upper teeth triangular, lower triangular narrowly linear, all more or less equal to the lip. Corolla 12.0 - 15.0 mm long, intense yellow. Flag 7.0 - 8.0 mm wide, ovate elliptical, the top entire, at the base suddenly narrowed into a thin short claw, more or less equal to wings and keel, naked. Wings narrowly elliptic, basically a wide elliptical appendage, narrowed in thin long claws, naked. The keel narrowly elliptical, basically thin long nails, naked, on the edge short cilia. Beans 1.5 - 2.0 cm long and 4.0 - 5.0 mm wide, oblong, naked, with 3 - 8 seeds. Seeds 3.0 - 3.5 mm long and 2.0 - 2.5 mm wide, lenticular, brown, smooth.

Note.
1. Under the name Genista spathulata number of authors identify plants belonging to G. januensis (see. Reichenbach, 1. a. And Gibbs, 1. pp.). We can believe that the most pronounced are the signs of G. januensis (G. triangularis) in the northwestern parts of the species range, while those of G. spathulata auct. in the southeast, where they appear forms transition to G. lydia Boiss. Due to the difficulties in tipifitsirane of G. spathulata Spach (see. Gibbs, 1. a.) And introgresivni unexplored relationship between G. januensis, G. spathulata and G. lydia consider unification G. spathulata with G. januensis currently most appropriate .
2. It should be noted that G. januensis occurs mainly on limestone terrain, a G, spathulata auct. and silicate, which speaks for some ecotype differentiation that currently can not be expressed taxonomically.
