English Name: not found a common nameDescription: Small shrubs, semi-shrubs, perennial, annual or biennial herbaceous plants. Stems numerous to single, erect, rarely recumbent or ascending. The leaves are consecutive, herbaceous, usually simply to triple cirrous divided, on petioles or sessile. Baskets heterogamous or self pollination (cleistogamy), hemispherical, with many blossoms, singly on petioles at the tips of stems and twigs. Enveloping leaflets in 3 - 4 rows, unequal, tiled, overlapping; the outer ones narrower and shorter than the inner ones. The flower bed is hemispherical, dense, with perennial, keel-like bracts. Blossoms uniformly or unevenly colored; outermost lingual, female, yellow, bright yellow or orange-yellow, pale yellow to cream, white or greenish; tongue whole, at the top 2 - 3-tooth or missing; internal bisexual, tubular, yellow, corolla apex with 5 teeth. Anthers linear, basically without appendages. The style with linear, thin sections. Fruits more or less dorsal - abdominal flattened, rhombic in cross section, glabrous, with 2 or more winged edges. The kite is absent, in the form of a sharp edge or membranous or cartilaginous, symmetrical or asymmetrical, whole or to varying degrees endowed crown. Insect pollinators; propagated by seeds and rhizome shoots.
