Species: Geranium divaricatum Ehrh.
In general appearance Geranium divaricatum more or less looks like native G. molle and might pass unrecorded, both being annuals with bright pink petals. However, the former has more angular leaves, a shorter rostrum, less hairy leaves, slightly longer petals, etc.
These plants are of one year, 20- 60 cm high, upright, branched out. The stem, blossom stems and calyx have a bristle, locks, without glands. These are white, about 1 – 2 mm long, on the same time gland hairs 0,1 – 0,2 mm long. The leaf is divided into 5 – 7 parts more than their half (2/3 – 4/5). Blossom pairs are pink, corolla leafs are 5 – 7 mm long. The calyx leafs are 5 – 8 mm long, with 0,5 – 1 mm longer point. The walnut has beard only 8 – 10 mm long.

Distribution in Bulgaria:
These plants are growing on dry, grassy, stony and bushy places, sometimes rude places, in the planes, foothills and mountains, in North – East Bulgaria, in front of the Balkan, Balkan, Sofia region, Vitosha mountain region, Rila mountain, Middle Rhodope mountain, low land of Thrace, Tundja hill plane, from the sea level up to 1300 m altitude.
They are appointed for „Знеполски район” (Урум., 1908, 1935), „Средна гора” mountain (Белащица – Урум. 1905) and for the Danube plain (Кнежа – Урум. 1917) too.
Central and South Europe, Caucasus, Central- and South-West Asia.
Conservation status and threats: it is not protected species in Bulgaria by theBiodiversity Law. Законодателство на Република България: Закон за биологичното разнообразие.
