Description:

A perennial plant, densely covered with long white hairs. Flowering stems 30 - 60 (80) cm high, upright or ascending, going out from creeping sterile stems rooted in the nodes. Leaves (15-) 25 - 50 mm long and (15-) 25 - 60 mm wide; lower kidney with 2 - 3 cm long stems; the upper broadly ovate triangular with shorter stems, at the base heart-shaped, all on the edge dull, jagged or finely serrated, on both sides adjacent fibrous, top dark green, bottom-green and pinpoint glands. The bracts are 2 - 4 mm long, linear. Blossoms in 2- to 5-flower vertebrae, located in the bosoms of the middle and upper stem leaves. The calyx is 7 - 11 mm long, narrow cylindrical, two-pointed, fibrous, often violet-colored; teeth of the upper lip are linearly lance, pointedly tapered, almost as long as the tube or up to 2 times shorter. Corolla 20 - 30 mm long, pale blue to bluish violet with white spots on the lower lip, short fiber; the tube 2 - 3 times longer than the calyx; upper lip duple; the lower lip with a greater than the lateral back medial median share. Nuts brown, 3 - 4 mm long, elliptical.
