Description:

Perennial. Wooden stem at the base, with numerous creeping, thin, gray-green, often at the bottom purple, densely short ciliates, 10 - 25 (30) cm long, more or less clear ribbed branches. Leaves 5 - 18 mm in length, 1 - 3 mm wide, linear, linear - elliptical, elliptical back ovate, oval, ovoid back or linear lanceolate, more or less narrowed at its base dense white fibrous, gray-green. Stipule narrowly ovate or triangular, tunicates, edge and surface ciliates. Blossoms up to 2 mm in diameter, collected in testa-shaped or headed, like wheatear clusters of lateral branches, almost subsessile. Bracts similar stipule but smaller. Sepals 5, ovate, pointed tip, up to 2 mm long, densely covered with protruding white cloth on top without long setae, close to the fetus. Stamens 5. Fruit ovoid cylindrical goal. Seeds to 0.8 mm long, lenticular, tan or brownish, smooth, shiny.
