English Name:Description:
6-9 group. O. Arenaria
Perennial grasses with low or almost upright, fitting fitting fibrous or almost bare stems. losscms 5.0 - 13.0 mm long, pink with purple streaks or light magenta to almost white. Calyx clearly shorter to slightly longer than the keel; teeth 3 - 5 times longer than the tube, linear styliform, edge-fitting, rarely spread long fibrous or naked; membranous tube, naked. Flag slightly shorter, up to 1.0 - 2.0 mm longer than the keel. Wings always clearly shorter than tube of the calyx. The keel curved or bent at right angles. Beans 4.0 - 7.0 (10.0) mm in diameter, exceeds or not the teeth of the calyx or shorter than them, goal or moderate fitting fibrous, with or without spines and teeth removed or dorsal edge.
Note. The types of the group are morphologically similar in many ways quite volatile, with introgresive trends. Nevertheless found in large and well-defined populations, but for which no data on chromosome numbers and their isolation mechanisms.

A perennial plant. Loose, tufts-similar or rhizome. Rhizome straight. Stems (8.0) 15.0 - 20.0 (30.0) cm long, from the base of highly branched, branches lying low or ascending, ribbed, short-fitting fiber. Stipule 4.0 - 5.0 mm long, broadly or ovate triangular, the top short styliform pointed, tunicates. Leaves equal to clusters stems, or up to 2 times longer. Leaflets 4 - 7 pairs, 5.0 - 10.0 (15.0) mm long and 2.0 - 3.0 (4.0) mm wide, linear, linear elliptical or linear lancet, at the top naked, by lower scattered fitting fibrous or almost naked. Inflorescences stem equal to inflorescence leaf or slightly longer. Inflorescences with many blossoms, reverse ovate, (2.0) 3.0 - 5.0 (6.0) cm long, not hooded. Bracts lanceolate, tunicates, most often in half shorter than the tube of the calyx, rarely extends to the base of the teeth. Blossoms 7.0 - 8.0 (9.0) mm long. Calyx 5.0 - 8.0 mm in length, 2/3 of the length of the corolla, or equal to it; tube fitting bare or sparsely hairy; the tube of the calyx teeth linear wedge to linear styliform, 2 - 3 times longer than the tube, slightly unequal to one another, along the edge off-standing semi long fibrous. Corolla white pink. Flag 6.0 - 7.0 (8.0) mm long and 4.5 - 5.0 (6.0) mm wide, broadly elliptical to broadly back ovoid or nearly round, entire, basically short claw, with unclear middle and parallel purple streaks. Wings 2 - 3 times shorter than the flag and the calyx, with elliptical lanceolate leaf blade, 3 - 4 times longer than the claws, the tongue almost equal to the nail or shorter. Keel gradually bent at an obtuse angle, the tip blunt, longer than or equal to the flag thereof, leaf blades 3 times longer than the nail. Beans 4.0 - 5.0 mm long, almost equal to calyx, on the edge with 3 - 5, 2.0 - 3.0 (4.0) mm long spines.
Note. The mention of O. ebemides Boiss. for Bulgaria Velenovsky, 1. a., due to the model (In calcareis collinis supra Tekir, 1893, PR, 1914, № 48 646-SOM) with about 1.0 - 2.0 mm longer than the keel flags, stronger covered with hairs teeths and small, back ovate leaflets. These specimens may be brought and collected by B. Stefanov near. Kuklen, Asenovgrad region (48 714-SOM). All three samples, however, contain enough flowers with flags equal or barely shorter than the keel, due to which we can assume that it is a transient with O. ebenoides individuals close to a greater degree to O. lasiostachya and all other marks, mostly bare or very short-fitting fibrous pods. Such exceptions to the ratio flag - boat are seen also in some other specimens, although in most cases our populations O. lasiostachya, especially for those in limestone terrain of western Bulgaria, is specific tendency towards ratio: flag barely shorter than the keel. Moreover, the cited materials are naked or nearly naked calyx while O. ebenoides has a strong fiber calyx.
O. cadmea indicated (Vel., 1. a.) and on the basis of materials collected in the lowland regions of Bulgaria. In fact, the species is characteristic of the mountainous region of Asia Minor and Central Southern Greece. In Sofia there are 4 herbaria herbarium specimen of lowland and foothill areas identified as O. cadmea, of which the closest O. cadmea is the collected in the Middle Rhodope Mountains below the monastery St. Petka (№ 48 797-SOM), but it can be included in definitions of himself Velenovsky (Suppl. I) transition between O. ebenoides and O. arenaria type. This type of variability is likely due to hybridization processes that give rise to sporadic check types typical of Asia Minor and the Mediterranean.
