Description:
Perennials. Rhizome wide, horizontal or inclined; roots thin, filamentary. Stem 2 - 39 cm tall, 1.5 - 3.0 mm diameter, upright, under inflorescence sticky bare, green or violet. Leaves 8 - 25 cm long, 0.2 - 2.5 cm wide, erect, fleshy collected in jack lance to broadly lanceolate, smooth edge to slightly wavy curled around the edge, top short glandular pubescent, bottom bare, gray-greenish. Inflorescence sloping hood, the blossoms 2 – 22; bracts 2.5 - 6.0 мм long, 0.8 - 1.5 mm in clear width , narrowly lanceolate, short glandular and glandular pubescent, slightly swollen at the base, after overblown appears extension. Blossom handle 2 - 4 mm long, with short glandular hairs. Calyx 4 - 6 mm high and 2.5 - 4.0 mm wide, bell-shaped, shares lanceolate to narrowly lance. Corolla 11 - 13 mm diameter, discoidal, tube 8 - 10 мм long, 1.8 - 2.0 mm wide; Segments 2 - 6 mm long, 3 - 6 mm wide, sustained a heart in the middle and holes single glandular hairs, dark- purple, fading at petal fall. Box 5 - 9 mm high, 2.5 - 4.0 mm wide, opening with 5 sharp, triangular teeth, naked. Seed 0,5 - 1.0 mm long, 0.5 - 1.0 mm in clear width, irregularly polygonal, smooth, thick with webbed edges brown.
Economic importance . Phytochemical studies showed that roots contain substances with kortikosteroid-similar action .
Flowering Time: Blooms : VI-VII, fruitful : VIII-IX.
