English Name: x x xDescription: Annual plant. Stem 15 - 60 cm high with slightly elongated internodes, upright, simple or branched, green, often with longitudinal black lines, in the upper part dense to distraught glandular fibrous. The leaves are lance, protruding lance to ovoid, 10 - 30mm long and 5 - 15mm wide, dull, jagged, green; Intercalar leaves 1 - 2 pairs or missing. The inflorescence begins at the V-X knot. The bracts are glandular fibrous, triangular ovoid with a pointed tip, at the end with short, broadly lance, almost identical teeth. The calyx densely scattered to the glandular fibrous; the hairs are retained on ripening of the fruit. Crown of 20 mm long, yellow; the gum tube slightly curved with a closed mouth; upper lip 1.5 - 2.5 mm long 2 - 3 times longer than wide, horizontally splayed, violet teeth; the lower lip shorter than the top and close to it. The box is 8 - 10 mm long, ovate rounded. Seeds with a 1 mm wide wingspan.
